The 2026 Climate Action Plan sets out what the City will do across seven sectors to cut emissions 61% below 1990 levels by 2030 and reach net-zero by 2040. This dashboard tracks the emissions, the actions, and the indicators behind that commitment.

Inventory: San Francisco Communitywide Greenhouse Gas Inventory (DataSF), mirrored 2026-09-05; inventories are biennial and the 2024 year is in preparation. Modeled paths: 2026 Climate Action Plan Appendix D (Arup/Cascadia), digitized from its Figure 1 and calibrated to its Table 1 at 2021, 2030, 2040, and 2050; the model's base year is the 2021 inventory. Targets: Environment Code Chapter 9.
